This committee does an annual review of Chamber By Laws, Membership Dues and Board Member Positions.
Meets monthly to work with other groups to address specific issues that may impact business retention and economic growth of the area.

Includes management and review of Chamber Dollars, Chamber Events, Promotional Advertising, Oversight of Website, Newcomers Bag and Guide to Mahomet Directory.

Individual Event Committees
The chamber hosts various signature events throughout the year. Each event has a committee of 3 or more, and we are always looking for new volunteers to bring their input and expertise to our events.
Last Monday in January at Mahomet High School Cafeteria
This is the first event of the year and planning starts in November. The director and Chairman are the hosts and the planning is pretty simple. Volunteers are needed for mainly the evening of the event which includes entertainment host, food host and general support for the evening. Learn more about this event >>
Early April at Mahomet High School Fieldhouse
2018 was the first year for the Mahomet Home Show. Focusing upon area businesses that provide goods and services to improve your home and outdoor living. The committee starts planning 6 months prior to get prices and sponsor packets ready. Learn more about this event >>
September Lake of the Woods Golf Course
Don’t have to love golf to have fun on this committee. Planning for 18 foursomes with lunch, games and dinner, it is a great time. The committee also works with the golf course and sponsors to get the most of the event. Learn more about this event >>
First Friday and weekend of December in Downtown Mahomet
Nothing is better than working hard and then seeing the smiles on the faces of the children when we transition downtown Mahomet to a winter wonderland. From Santa, Shopping, treats to lights, decorations and smells of the holiday, this is a great time had by all. The breakfast with Santa is Saturday morning. It is a great time to watch the children eat and chat with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Learn more about this event >>
